It looks like another September release for this Kirkland wine that has become a little unpredictable on timing over the past 12-18 months.
We even saw the 2018 vintage make a surprise appearance in March of this year, which was really unexpected.
Right away we notice the price on the Costco placard sticking at $19.99, which is a nice place for Brunello.

Our scores on these wines have been all over the place over the years, and our readers are equally scattered on liking some vintages a lot more than others.
2010 – 92-93 points
2011 – 86 points
2012 – 87 points
2013 – 88 points
2014 – 88 points
2015 – 89 points
2016 – 91 points
2017 – 90 points
2018 - 91 points
2019 - 93 points
We ended with the last vintage really hitting us right and earning our biggest score across the ten vintages of this wine that we've tasted.
The 93 points is coming down a bit though with the 2020 vintage. The wine is good, solid, still a baby in Brunello years, and worthy of a nice 90 points right now with a chance for upward mobility with age.

There's a lot to like here for people who are ready to drink now; medium ruby in the glass with earthy, dark fruit aromas; medium bodied and savory in the mouth with dried herbs and flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum; good but a little quick on the finish.
This wine is very enjoyable all around, and again ready for some cellar time, maybe 7 - 9 years when it might evolve and mature. Still feels like a rebellious teenager a bit but a nice buy in Italian reds at Costco for under $20.

Here in Michigan it's $22.99. I could say something about our state's distributors -- but I won't.
