This is always a fun bottle to try with every new vintage. It's Kirkland's base level Napa Valley Cabernet, which flies under the radar a lot of times, and seems to move quickly through stores.
It moves so fast in fact, that we didn't catch the past two vintages in stores near us which is a bit of bummer. Although perhaps there wasn't a 2022 vintage as it is skipped on the placard below.

We love seeing the price stay the same as it was a couple years ago, at $14.99, a solid place to be for Napa Valley Cabernet.
Our ratings over the years have consistently been 88 points, making this a good, solid pick.

This latest 2023 vintage falls right in line once again. It's classic Napa all around, and delivered in an easy going package.
Nice dark fruit, medium plus in body with good acidity; baking spice with a touch of vanilla and oak in a pleasant, chalky finish.

As we've said about prior vintages, be sure to give it a little decant to open it up. Overall, a good pick and the $15 price point is right on the mark.
